Assist the Head of Design in the development of the Design Briefs and managing the Architecture/ interior design related matters, such as, programming, space planning, layout and utilization, interior aesthetics, and the integration of FF&E
- Assist in the management of the interior design consultants and the interior design process to ensure design excellence and quality, and that deliverables meet company standards and project briefs
- Assist Head of Design in the development of interior design scope for the interior design consultants selection and appointment process
- Coordinate with the interior design consultants for the incorporation of required program in the interior design
- Assist on required in-house design studies
- Design and manage in-house projects as directed by Head of Design
- Assist in the review of interior designer's milestone submissions on quality and adherence of Design Briefs and coordinate with the operators
- Assist in the review and comment on material samples and mood boards
- Assist in the review of contractors' submissions
- Assist in monitoring quality of off and on-site fabrication from design perspective
- Assist in the management of project FF&E costs and schedule
- Assist in monitoring and reporting of the progress of interior design work on projects
- Work closely with the appointed consultants during all stages of projects to ensure practical, effective and durable designs at indicated budgets interfacing with internal and external Operations Management to ensure timely incorporation of operational requirements within the project design
- Conduct regular site walk through and resolve design issues arise during construction
- Conduct site and factory visits with the Interior Design Consultants to ensure implementation and compliance with approved design intent and direction

You‘re expected to take charge of (but not limited to) as follows:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the interior design team
- Develop and implement Etienne’s design philosophy across all aspects of the company
- Space planning
- Assist on required in-house design and color theorystudies
- Work closely with sales team to ensure clients’ needs are met
- Creating proposals and presentations
- Generating sales leads and developing new business opportunities
- Managing budgets and maintaining profitability goals

- DEGREE IN ARCHITECTURE/INTERIOR DESIGN graduate from reputable school.
- Minimum 4 years experienced with same position/responsibilities handling projects from concept to completion, in France or other countries.
- Sound knowledge in design trends and building design materials
- Knowledge in sketch up/photoshop/indesign/autocad/revit is an advantage. Landscape design experienced also advantage.
- Experience and knowledge of: All aspects of Hospitality Interior Design, including space planning, FF&E, materials; Typical building regulations as relates to interior construction; Interior Design processes, including current consultants' practices, typical scope and abilities; Design Team Structures, including combinations of Concept and Executive Designers
- Must be able to speak and write in English/French to be able to communicate both to foreign and local consultants/contractors
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good organization and communication skills
